SERVICE AREA / HOUMA / TERREBONNE PARISH
Houma is the largest city in Terrebonne Parish and its parish seat. Our team serves commercial, industrial and multifamily properties across the area.
01 / THE REGION
Houma is the largest principal city of the Houma–Bayou Cane–Thibodaux metro area. In 1984 the city’s government was absorbed by the parish, which now operates as the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government. Major roads include US 90 (future I-49), LA 24, LA 182 and Tunnel Boulevard.
The city sits at an elevation of about 10 feet. In August 2021 it was struck by the eyewall of Category 4 Hurricane Ida, which caused widespread damage.
02 / WHAT WE WATCH FOR
Wet bases lose strength and fail under traffic.
Cracks let rain into the base. Sealing them is cheap protection.
Water needs a clear path off the pavement to the drains.

BEFORE THE WORK
It depends on how much of the lot is affected and whether the base is sound. Our team can walk the property and lay out both options in writing so you can compare them.
